Gatherings: Living Life Fully in a Crisis-Filled World
2014-01-08
from 11:00 to 13:00 |
Dates: There are four Wednesday meetings in this series: October 16, November 13, December 11, January 8
Cost: $80
Description: The intent of the four meetings of the Gathering series is to explore, study, and apply the teachings in Margaret Wheatley’s book, So Far From Home: Lost and Found in our Brave New World. In her book, Wheatley explains “what is so” about our crisis-filled world and suggests how to live in such a world in a way that denies nothing and is psychologically and spiritually sound. She describes specific uncomfortable truths that have emerged in our country over time and explains how we can respond to them from the perspective of compassion and insight.
As warriors for the human spirit, we discover our right work, work that we know is ours to do no matter what. ~ Margaret Wheatley
A Tibetan Buddhist, Margaret Wheatley is well known in the leadership, learning organization, and systems thinking world.
Requirements: To assist in the coherence and support of each meeting, participants should anticipate attending all four Gatherings.
