from 10:00 to 12:00

Cost: $20 per session

Description: Join us for a series of Spring Forest Qigong practices and meditations.  Each session will begin with a discussion and practices on a specific topic – the breath, the nervous system, the heart, the kidneys, the liver, and sleep –  followed by Spring Forest Qigong active exercises and meditation.

Qigong is the study of energy (chi or qi).  It has been practiced in China for over 5,000 years and has many applications for health and wellbeing.  Spring Forest Qigong was developed by Master Chunyi Lin to provide an accessible version of this ancient practice. The exercises are gentle and can be done standing, sitting, or lying down. They support all aspects of health:  physical, emotional, psychological, mental, and spiritual.

Note: Wear comfortable clothing.  Beginners are welcome.  Attend any or all sessions, held every third Wednesday through February 2014.

Sleep is a type of Qigong.  It provides a natural way to balance our energy.  Sleep helps us to renew and balance ourselves and remove energy blockages. ~ Master Chunyi Lin
